On the other hand, the ABD0100 standard includes the transient voltage characteristics and steady state limits of 28 Volt direct current electrical power circuits in these aircraft. It also describes the requirements and characteristics of aircraft electrical power supplied at the input terminals of electrical utility equipment. This standard provides test methods and procedures for determining the compatibility of air-use equipment with defined electrical power specification requirements. However, electromagnetic interference and voltage spikes are not covered by this standard.
