We compile the Product Information File (PIF) and inform your product on the Cosmetic Products Notification Portal (CPNP). CPNP is a free online notification system created for the implementation of Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009.
Why should cosmetics be notified in CPNP?
In order for a cosmetic product to be placed on the market, a responsible person must be appointed for that product within the EU.
According to Article 1223 of Regulation (EC) No 2009/13, the person responsible must provide CPNP information on the products they put or offer on the European market.
When a product appears on the CPNP, no further notification is required at national level within the EU.
What is PIF?
The responsible person must maintain a Product Information File (PIF) for each product placed on the market. The PIF should be stored for 10 years following the date the last batch of the cosmetic product is placed on the market. We compile your PIF based on the documents you send us.
