Today, many test methods are applied within the scope of optical tests and analyzes in advanced laboratories. For example, collimator, black body, power requirement, power input interface, focusing, thermal invisible angle, image persistence, total angle of view, and multiple resolution time domain (MRTD) test methods are among them.

A collimator is a device that constricts a particle or wave beam. Narrowing means to cause the directions of motion to align more in a particular direction, or to cause the spatial cross-section of the beam to become smaller. A collimator device is a device used to produce a parallel beam of light or radiation. This device is used to convert light or radiation emitted from a point source into a parallel beam. This collimation of light is necessary to make special measurements in spectroscopy and in geometric and physical optics.
A black body is an ideal physical body that absorbs all incoming electromagnetic radiation, regardless of frequency or angle of incidence. The name black body was given because it absorbs all the colors of light. Blackbody also emits blackbody radiation. Humans emit it most strongly in the infrared range at normal body temperature. In fact, for infrared radiation, the human body is a very good approximation of an ideal blackbody radiator, regardless of skin pigmentation.
A power supply takes the alternating current from the wall socket, converts it to unregulated direct current, and reduces the voltage to the voltage required by the load using an input power transformer. For safety reasons, the transformer also separates the output power supply from the mains input. Essentially, a power supply operates in four stages. The transformer steps down the high-voltage alternating current network into low-voltage alternating current. The rectifier converts alternating current to direct current. Smoothing smooths the direct current from a large change to a small ripple. The regulator, on the other hand, eliminates the ripple by adjusting the direct current output to a constant voltage.
The power input interface allows sensors (input converters) to communicate with devices and computers, microcontrollers. Interface is a method of interconnecting a device, specifically a computer, single board computer or microcontroller, and allows to design output and input configurations of two electronic devices so that they can work together. But interfacing is more than just using the software program of computers and processors beyond control.
Optical focusing is the ability of the lens to change its shape to allow objects to be seen clearly. Optics is a critical component for an industrial imaging system. Focus and image quality tests reveal the difference between a high-performance machine vision system and a weak one.
Multiple resolution time domain (MRTD) is a time domain electromagnetic modeling technique applied to general structures and allows the use of multiple resolution principles. The multi-resolution time domain (MRTD) technique is offered for general basis functions. Additional techniques presented here allow modeling of complex structures.
