MON87705 Soy Type Determination and Quantity Analysis

The genetically modified soybean strain MON87705 is a herbicide-tolerant soybean strain. In our country, MON87705 soybean type has been approved by the Biosafety Board for feed use. The Biosafety Board first assessed the potential risks of importing this soybean for use as feed. In the light of the data obtained, it has been decided that the possible effects of using MON87705 soybean species for feed purposes will not be higher than the non-genetically modified species in terms of human, animal and environmental health.
