Sampling from Waste Water (TS ISO 5667-10)

Sampling from Waste Water (TS ISO 5667-10)

The ISO 5667-10 standard has been developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), which details the design of sampling programs and techniques for domestic and industrial wastewater sampling, ie sample collection. Industrial wastewater includes all kinds of wastewater such as radioactive wastewater, cooling water, raw and treated domestic wastewater. This standard deals with the various sampling techniques used and the rules to be applied to ensure that the samples are representative. Sampling from accidental spills is not considered appropriate. However, the methods described in certain cases are also valid for spills.

This standard has also been published in our country by the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE) with the following title: TS ISO 5667-10 Water quality - Sampling - Part 10: Waste water sampling guide.

In standard practice , a composite sample refers to two or more samples mixed in suitably known ratios from which an average value of a desired characteristic can be obtained. The number of samples usually depends on time, flow measurements, area, or depth profile sampling.

In the tests and analyzes carried out in our organization, which has a wide range of technological equipment, trained and experienced staff and applies the most modern methods, national and international standards and legal regulations in force are complied with. Among the numerous tests carried out in this context, there are also wastewater sampling services (TS ISO 5667-10).
