Intracutaneous or intradermal allergy testing is a method of skin testing that helps determine whether a person is allergic to a particular allergen. This test involves injecting a small amount of the suspected allergen under the surface of the skin. After about 20 minutes, it is checked whether there is a reaction in the area.

In general, three common methods of allergy skin testing are applied:
Mainly the advantages of intracutaneous testing are slightly better reproducibility and higher sensitivity. Intracutaneous (intracutaneous) tests are done using a hypodermic syringe and needle. Some devices have a single stylus with one or several points so that the application of the extract and the puncture take place in one step. Multi-head skin testing devices are first dipped into the extract bottles, then applied to the skin, completing the test in one step.
Intradermal test is a test applied in cases where the skin scratch test is negative but clinical findings are compatible with respiratory tract allergy, atopic dermatitis, bee allergy or drug allergy. Except for bee allergies, direct intradermal testing (intradermal testing) cannot be performed without a scratch test on the skin.
Our organization also provides intracutaneous testing services with its trained and expert staff and advanced technological equipment, among the numerous test, measurement, analysis and evaluation studies it provides for businesses in various sectors.
