The EN 1186 standard, which is a European standard, offers test methods for product control from plastic materials in contact with foodstuffs.

The standard in question has been published in our country by the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE) under the following main title: TS EN 1186 Articles and materials in contact with foodstuffs - Plastics. This standard consists of many sub-sections. Several standards designed for product control (aqueous foods - aqueous, acidic, alcoholic) are as follows:
