Developed by the Air Transport Association (ATA), the ATA iSpec 2200 standard is a global aviation industry standard for the content, structure and electronic exchange of aircraft engineering and maintenance information. This standard consists of a set of data specifications related to maintenance requirements and procedures and aircraft configuration control.

The purposes of the ATA iSpec 2200 standard are:
Recognizing the synergy between the ATA SPEC 100 and ATA SPEC 2100 standards, the industry needed this consolidated standard to support aircraft maintenance and guide the preparation of technical documentation. The ATA iSpec 2200 standard is an industry-wide standard for numbering aircraft systems, regardless of delivery medium, as well as includes content and electronic formatting specifications for technical documents.
Specifications have been published by the Air Transport Association (ATA) to standardize the format in which maintenance information is presented in aircraft maintenance manuals. The original specification was called ATA SPEC 100. After many updates, the ATA SPEC 2100 has been developed for electronic documentation. Later, these two standards were merged into a single standard called ATA iSpec 2200. As a result, maintenance technicians always find information about a particular system in the same section of an aircraft maintenance manual, regardless of manufacturer.
The ATA iSpec 2200 standard provides the following document type definitions mainly:
Our organization also provides information standards testing services for aviation maintenance within the scope of ATA iSpec 2200 standard, with its trained and expert staff and advanced technological equipment, among the numerous test, measurement, analysis and evaluation studies it provides for businesses in various sectors.
