Treatment Sludge Analysis

Treatment Sludge Analysis

Initially, most communities discharged their wastewater or sewage into streams and rivers with minimal treatment. However, as urban populations increased, the natural ability of streams and rivers to cope with wastewater decreased, and water quality began to deteriorate in many areas. This raised serious concerns, and wastewater treatment systems began to be established. This saved the rivers and streams, but a new material emerged to deal with: sewage sludge. 99% of the wastewater entering a treatment plant comes out as rejuvenated water, but the remainder is a dilute solid suspension. This wastewater treatment solid is called sewage sludge.

Treatment Sludge Analysis

This sludge has recently been called biosolids. Biological solids are sludge that has undergone adequate treatment for stabilization and pathogen reduction and is of high enough quality to be used in the field.

Raw sludge is a potential health and environmental hazard due to its pathogenic content and unstable, decomposable nature. However, today, several treatment methods are applied to stabilize this sludge, reduce pathogen content and increase solids content.

In the tests and analyzes carried out in our organization, which has a wide range of technological equipment, trained and experienced staff and applies the most modern methods, national and international standards and legal regulations in force are complied with. Sewage sludge analysis services are among the numerous tests carried out in this context.
