Dioxin Test

Dioxins and furans are toxic chemical compounds that are considered persistent pollutants. They are difficult to correct and can remain in the environment for a long time. Dioxins and furans are anthropogenic compounds that result from a range of activities, including the production of certain chemical species and bleaching paper products. Dioxins and furans are among the most toxic substances in the world.

Dioxin Test

Today, dioxin and furan accumulation is seen in many daily products and the tests to be done are therefore very important. These pollutants are permanent, usually accumulate in the food chain and cause a number of health problems in humans. In many studies, it has been determined that it has negative effects on both human health and the environment in general.

Animal studies have shown that they are carcinogenic and harm the reproductive and immune systems. The presence of these compounds is determined by dioxin and furan tests.

In advanced laboratories, dioxin and furan testing is conducted in a variety of environments and products, including marine environments and seafood where demand exists. These tests identify hazardous dioxins such as PCDD, PCDF, TCDD, and others. The tests follow methods developed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA): EPA method 1613B and EPA test method 8290A.

In the test, analysis, measurement and evaluation studies carried out in our organization, national and international standards and applicable legal regulations are complied with and reliable and impartial results are obtained. Dioxin testing services are among the numerous tests carried out in this context.
