Measurement of Velocity and Flow of Gas Flows in Chimneys, Determination of Velocity and Flow of Gas Flows, with L and S Type Pitot Tubes (TS ISO 10780)

The ISO 10780 standard, published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), presents manual test methods for determining the velocity and volumetric flow rate of gas flows in ducts and chimneys opening to the atmosphere. This standard describes the use of two types of Pitot tubes, type L and type S, for determining velocity and volumetric flow rate for each type of Pitot tube. It is applicable to gas flows with essentially constant density, temperature, flow rate, and pressure at the sampling point. A Pitot tube is primarily equipment that measures the total pressure created by a fluid and the velocity of that fluid relative to that pressure. It is particularly widely used in aircraft.

This standard has also been published by TSE in our country with the following title: TS ISO 10780 Point source emissions - Measuring the velocity and flow of gas flows in pipes.

In the test, analysis, measurement and evaluation studies carried out in our organization, national and international standards and applicable legal regulations are complied with and reliable and impartial results are obtained. These studies are based on the latest technological equipment, trained and experienced staff and modern methods. Among the numerous tests carried out in this context, there are services such as measuring the velocity and flow rate of gas flows in chimneys, determining the velocity and flow rate of gas flows, and L and S type Pitot tube (TS ISO 10780).
