In our country, this standard has been published by the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE) with the following title: TS 9546 EN 12880 Characterization of sludge - Determination of dry residue and water content.
The gravimetric method for determining the dry matter and water content of sediment, mud, soil, and waste on a bulk basis is a method for determining the dry matter and water content of mud, soil, sediment, and waste samples, excluding samples containing volatile substances. This method is applicable to the determination of the dry matter and water content of the following materials: muds, including liquid, paste-like, or solid muds; all types of soil samples; sediments; and wastes.
In the test, analysis, measurement and evaluation studies carried out in our organization, national and international standards and applicable legal regulations are complied with and reliable and impartial results are obtained.
