The ISO 10524-4 standard, developed by the International Standards Organization (ISO), describes the performance characteristics and test methods of low pressure regulators used with medical gases and designed to be installed in medical equipment. This standard has been published in our country by the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE) under the following title: TS EN ISO 10524-4 Pressure regulators used with medical gases - Part 4: Low pressure regulators.
This standard covers specific medical gases used in the treatment, rehabilitation, diagnosis, and care of patients, as well as the types of low-pressure regulators intended for their use. These gases include: oxygen, nitrous oxide, medical air, helium, carbon dioxide, xenon, specified mixtures of these gases, air for operating medical equipment, and nitrogen and oxygen-enriched air for operating medical equipment.
