In the ISO 7396-2 standard developed by the International Standards Organization (ISO), certain features and test methods of anesthetic gas discharge systems in medical gas piping systems. This standard has been published in our country by the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE) with the following title: TS EN ISO 7396-2 Medical gas piping systems - Part 2: Anesthetic gas discharge systems.

This standard describes the requirements for the design, installation, operation, performance, documentation, testing, and commissioning of anesthetic gas purge disposal systems to ensure patient safety and minimize operator and other personnel exposure to anesthetic gases and vapors . The standard includes requirements for power equipment, pipeline system, performance, interchangeability between key components, and prevention of cross-connections between anesthetic gas purge disposal systems and medical gas and vacuum pipeline systems.
The ISO 7396-2 standard is valid only for disposal systems that are intended to be connected to anesthetic gas cleaning receiving systems compliant with the ISO 9170-2 standard, through terminal units of anesthetic gas cleaning systems compliant with the ISO 8835-3 standard. This standard also applies to:
The anesthetic gas cleaning system consists of three main parts: a transfer system, a receiving system and a disposal system. Requirements for receiving systems and transfer systems are contained in the ISO 8835-3 standard. Connections for terminal units are included in the ISO 9170-2 standard. In the ISO 7396-2 standard, features and test methods are given to ensure compatibility between system components.
Our organization also provides testing services for anesthetic gas evacuation systems in ISO 7396-2 medical gas pipe systems within the scope of laboratory services to enterprises.
