The ASTM E72 standard, developed by the American Testing and Materials Organization (ASTM), includes a number of procedures to determine the structural properties of sections of wall, floor and roof structures.

The described test methods are:
Test walls are organized under the following headings:
Impact load (these test methods are defined in E695 and E661)
Test floors are organized under the following headings:
Impact load (these test methods are defined in E695 and E661)
Test frameworks are organized under the following headings:

There must be at least three samples for each test. The samples should be constructed to represent portions of the wall, floor or roof assembly. Samples should be of the largest practical size to estimate the structural performance characteristics of the assembly. Unsymmetrical assemblies are tested on each axis. The length or height of the specimen for each element should be chosen to be suitable for the length or height of that element in actual use. The width of the sample should be chosen to include as few main load-bearing members as possible to ensure that the behavior under load simulates the behavior under service conditions.
Among the numerous test, measurement, analysis and evaluation studies it provides for businesses in various sectors, our organization also provides standard testing services for strength tests of panels for building construction, within the scope of ASTM E72-15 standard, with its trained and expert staff and advanced technological equipment.
