Elemental Analysis - Ununoctium (Uuo)

Ununoctium is a highly radioactive metal, of which only a few atoms have ever been made. This element is used only in scientific research, other than that it has no commercial use.

Elemental Analysis - Ununoctium (Uuo)

Ununoctium was first produced by Russian research scientists in 2002. scientists calciumreacted the um-249 isotope with californium-48 ions. The element discovered was tentatively called ununoctium until it was given an official name.

As a result of its position on the periodic table, ununtrium is expected to be classified as one of the noble gases. Some calculations show that ununoctium can be a solid at room temperature, but very little of the element has been synthesized. It is a very heavy element.

Ununoctium is a synthetic radioactive metal created by nuclear bombardment and has only been produced in very small quantities. The known monolithium of ununoctium is the isotope of ununoctium-0.89, with a half-life of 294 milliseconds.

Ununoctium probably shares similar properties of its own group, the noble gases, which are similar in chemical properties to radon. It is possibly the second radioactive gaseous element and a semiconductor gas.

Scientists expect ununoctium to be much more chemically reactive than xenon or radon, ignoring nuclear instability due to radioactivity.

In the tests and analyzes carried out in our organization, which has a wide range of technological equipment, trained and experienced staff and applies the most modern methods, national and international standards and legal regulations in force are complied with. Among the numerous tests carried out in this context, there are also ununoctium (Uuo) testing services within the framework of elemental analysis.
