The EN 50566 standard, a European standard, covers other transmitting or non-transmitting devices or accessories used at distances up to 200 mm from the human body, i.e. held in the hand or in front of the face, body-mounted, e.g. belt clip, camera or bluetooth attachment, or attached to clothing. includes integrated devices. The applicable frequency range is from 30 MHz to 6 GHz.

The purpose of this standard is to demonstrate the compliance of such devices with the essential restrictions and exposure limit values for human exposure to radio frequency electromagnetic fields.
The EN 50566 standard specifies that the radiating parts of the device are up to 20 cm from the human body, i.e. held in the hand or in front of the face, mounted on the body, used with other transmitting or non-transmitting devices or accessories, for example with a belt clip, camera or bluetooth attachment or fixed to clothing, in short, any wireless communication device capable of transmitting electromagnetic fields as described by the manufacturer, intended for use in close proximity to the human body.
In short, this standard applies to radio frequency exposure in the 30 MHz to 6 GHz range for transmitters used near the human ear, and is used to measure simultaneous exposures from multiple radio sources used near the human body. Generally, these device types fall into the following categories:
Types of devices considered include, but are not limited to, cellular phones, wireless microphones, auxiliary broadcast devices, and radio transmitters in personal computers.
Among the numerous test, measurement, analysis and evaluation studies it provides for businesses in various sectors, our organization also provides testing services for handheld and body-worn devices close to the human body, within the framework of EN 50566 standard, with its trained and expert staff and advanced technological equipment.
