In the EN 50663 standard, which is a European standard, simple conformity assessment methods are defined for low-power electronic and electrical equipment operating within the exposure limit of electromagnetic field at frequencies between 10 MHz and 300 GHz. If such equipment cannot be demonstrated to comply with applicable electromagnetic field exposure requirements using the exposure assessment methods in this standard, other electromagnetic field product standards may be used for conformity assessment. This standard is not designed to evaluate electromagnetic compatibility with other equipment.

The compliance of electromagnetic emissions from electronic and electrical equipment with key restrictions is generally determined by measurements and, in some cases, by calculating the exposure level. If the electrical power used or emitted by the equipment is low enough, radiated electromagnetic fields cannot produce exposures that exceed basic restrictions. This standard provides simple electromagnetic field assessment procedures for this low power equipment.
The following four ways are suggested to demonstrate compliance with this standard:
If neither of these means can be used, the equipment is outside the scope of this standard.
Among the numerous tests, measurements, analyses, and evaluations our organization provides for businesses in various sectors, we also offer standard testing services for the evaluation of low-power electronic and electrical equipment related to human exposure restrictions to electromagnetic fields, within the framework of the EN 50663 standard, thanks to our trained and expert staff and advanced technological equipment.
