Microbial Clearance test (Bioburden) is performed on finished face masks. This test is carried out to show that the production process is under control and is required by EN 14683:2014. EUROLABWith its expert team and state-of-the-art laboratories, we can provide all your EN 14683 testing needs.

The Microbial Cleaning test determines the total number of viable microorganisms in the face mask using an extraction method. Total viable aerobic microbial count and fungus count are determined. Based on the weight of the mask, results are reported as the total biological load per gram tested for each mask. To meet the performance requirements of Type I, Type II and Type IIR according to EN 14683, the biological load of the face mask should be 30 cfu / g.
According to the EN 14683 standard, the number of samples required for this test is at least five masks, but can be larger and must be increased to allow an AQL of 4%.
EUROLAB, with its highly expert team and internationally accredited laboratories, Microbial Cleansing Test for Facial Masks It performs all test, analysis, measurement, evaluation and report generation services completely and reliably.
