The aim of the STANAG 4074 standard, which is among the STANAG standards that determine the military standards of NATO member countries, is to standardize the dimensions and basic features of the auxiliary power unit connections to operate the tactical land vehicles used in the NATO armed forces.

This standard also has similar features with the MIL-PRF-62122 standard, a military defense standard prepared by the US Department of Defense (MIL-PRF-62122 Performance characteristics: cable assembly, power between vehicles: plug, socket and adapter). This standard covers wiring assemblies, plugs, sockets and adapters used for a temporary connection between electrical systems of two vehicles to start the main engine of a disabled vehicle from a running vehicle. The wiring assemblies, plugs and sockets covered in this standard are intended to provide a temporary connection between the electrical systems of two vehicles with the same level of voltage power supply to allow it to be used as a power source to start the main engine of a second running vehicle.
The main requirements according to this standard are as follows:
Among the numerous test, measurement, analysis and evaluation studies it provides for businesses in various sectors, our organization also provides auxiliary power unit connections testing services for the operation of tactical land vehicles, within the scope of the STANAG 4074 standard, with its trained and expert staff and advanced technological equipment.
