Vibration Tests

Vibration Tests

Ensure your new design survives in its intended environment. EUROLAB Vibration testing pays off by reducing field turnaround costs through improved product reliability.

Vibration Tests

Vibrations from a ship's engine or from driving a vehicle on a bumpy road are examples of causes of fatigue that cause malfunctions in mechanical and electrical systems.

Environments subject to vibration:

  • Routine shipping and handling
  • Transportation
  • Mounting your equipment on the bulkhead of a ship in mechanical contact with the engines.
  • Normal operating environments of land vehicles and aircraft

EUROLAB's vibration testing facilities include 100 electrodynamic shakers providing a maximum sustained force of over 3 kN for sine and random vibration analysis for the most commonly used vibration testing events.

We can combine various systems to simulate your expected vibration test conditions such as mechanical vibration and various atmospheric / climatic conditions.

The effects of vibration on a wide range of frequency and acceleration levels can be simulated according to the IEC 60068 series.

Scope:

  • IEC 60068 2 6
  • IEC 60068 2 64
  • IEC 60945
  • Maritime Classification Society specifications
  • Offshore
  • Submarine
  • Medical equipment
  • Railways
  • Other

Tests:

  • Sinusoidal Vibration
  • Random Vibration
  • Sine in Random Vibration
  • Vibration combined with cold / heat / humidity

Features:

  • Frequency Range: DC-2700Hz
  • Maximum Force: 105 kN
  • Max Speed: 150g
  • Maximum Weight: 1000 kg
