The EN 15725 standard, a European standard, describes the procedures for the preparation of reports on the extended application process using the results of fire reaction tests and fire resistance tests for fire classification of building products and building elements.

This standard is based entirely on extended application standards, namely CEN/TC 127 Fire safety in buildings. The European system today allows extended codes of practice to be included in technical specifications. The CEN Technical Committees producing these rules are requested to refer to the guidance of the CEN/TC 127 standard to ensure that their rules comply with the standards prepared by CEN/TC 127.
The requirements in the EN 15725 standard are arranged as follows:
Many people directly or indirectly involved in the design, construction and management processes of buildings see compliance with legal regulations and international standards on fire safety as a difficult problem to overcome. In European Union countries, for example, the safety of a building's occupants is a primary concern. It is important to investigate problems related to fire safety and protection in buildings, and hence fire resistance performance, and to base solutions on the principles of reason, common sense, science, general engineering, applicability and cost effectiveness. In this way, better and more reliable fire safety and protection is provided in buildings. Therefore, continuous review and analysis of accurate fire investigation reports should be routine practice in all areas of the fire safety design and engineering discipline.
A successful passive fire protection strategy requires examining construction materials in terms of their ability to prevent the passage of flames. When selecting fire-resistant materials, many factors are considered, ranging from load-bearing capacity and thermal conductivity to susceptibility to decay.
Among the numerous test, measurement, analysis and evaluation studies it provides for businesses in various sectors, our organization also provides services for extended application reports on the fire performance of building products and building elements within the scope of EN 15725 standard, with its trained and expert staff and advanced technological equipment.
