The practice defined in the ASTM G26 standard developed by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) includes the basic principles and operating procedure for a water or light exposure apparatus, or both, using a xenon arc light source.

The application described in the standard, whose full name is “ ASTM G26-70 Recommended application for exposure of nonmetallic materials - for working light and water exposure apparatus (xenon-arc type)”, combines the applications previously defined in ASTM G26 and ASTM G27 standards. The application for operating xenon-arc type apparatus for light exposure of nonmetallic materials (ASTM G27) has been withdrawn from the standard as it is now included in test methods C and D of the ASTM G26 standard.
This practice does not specify the optimal exposure conditions for the material to be tested. However, it is limited by the method of obtaining, measuring and controlling the conditions and procedures of exposure. Sample preparation, test conditions, and evaluation of results are covered in ASTM methods or specifications for specific materials.
Standard practice defined in ASTM G26 includes four test methods:
Among the numerous test, measurement, analysis and evaluation studies it has given for businesses in various sectors, our organization, with its trained and expert staff and advanced technological equipment, within the scope of ASTM G26-70 standard, recommended for the exposure of non-metallic materials, working light and water exposure. It also provides testing services for the (xenon-arc type) apparatus.
