The EN 13706 standard, which is a European standard, consists of the following subsections under the main title "Reinforced plastic composites - Properties for pultruded profiles":

EN 13706-1 standard defines a data block system for determining pultrusion profiles made from fiber-reinforced plastic composites. Types of pultrusion profiles are distinguished by a classification system based on information about the type of polymer matrix used, the reinforcement material, the type of reinforcement, and additional in-service performance characteristics (e.g., fire retardancy and ultraviolet stability). This standard is applicable only to pultruded profiles made from fiber-reinforced plastic composites.
EN 13706-2 defines the general requirements applicable to the specification of all types of pultruded profiles covered by this specification, as defined in Part 1 of this standard. This standard describes the procedures to be followed in preparing test specimens for the designation in Part 1 and the determination of the mechanical properties required for the technical specification in Part 3. The term pultrusion refers to the continuous production process for the manufacture of composite profiles, where layers of fibrous material impregnated with synthetic resin are pulled through a temperature-controlled die, and the resin is then cured or cooled to form the final shape of the profile. Pultruded profiles are composite products that are continuously produced by the pultrusion process and generally have a constant cross-section and properties. For the purposes of this standard, the minimum mechanical properties for a profile to be structurally classified must meet the minimum properties defined in Part 3 of this standard.
The EN 13706-3 standard defines the properties of pultruded profiles. The specification defines the properties to be determined and the level to be achieved for each profile class. This standard defines the degrees in which the short-form code relates to the Young's modulus of the material measured by testing a length of the full section profile. Two grades, E23 and E17, have been defined. The properties to be obtained for each profile class are given in a table. Other features to be reported are in a separate table.
Among the numerous test, measurement, analysis and evaluation studies it provides for businesses in various sectors, our organization also provides testing services for the determination of properties for reinforced plastic composites and pultruded profiles, within the scope of EN 13706 standard, with its trained and expert staff and advanced technological equipment.
