EUROLAB Our technology labs feature complete vehicle bodies, simulated vehicle environments, and a Hyper-G catapult system where components are exposed to the effects of a crash. With a force of 2.200 kN, speeds of up to 80 km/h or structural masses of up to 3.500 kg can be accelerated.
Existing front, side and rear impact impacts are simulated, for example Euro NCAP, ECE and FMVSS as well as specific customer requirements. Areas of focus include dynamic tests on seats and headrests such as ambulances, interior equipment as well as vehicle integrations and extensions in accordance with DIN EN 1789, as well as motorsport tests in accordance with FIA standards (zB 8855-1999).
High-speed cameras, hybrid III manikins, and P and Q child manikin families, along with modern data collection systems and associated assessment tools, can be used for meaningful assessment of material and component behavior during tests.
