Quality of Hyundai Kia MS213-24 Polypropylene (PP) Copolymer

The “Hyundai Kia MS213-24 Polypropylene (PP) Copolymer Quality” standard, developed by Hyundai-Kia Motors, the oldest motor vehicle manufacturer in Korea, defines the quality of polypropylene (PP) copolymer . This material is used for injection-molded interior and exterior parts of the vehicle, such as pillar trim, deflection nozzles, door trims, transverse pillar trim, and similar parts as specified in the drawings.

In terms of general requirements, parts using this material must comply with all requirements of the relevant assembly performance specification. The chemical composition and processing conditions that may affect the quality of the parts should not be changed inappropriately. Before changing the chemical composition of the material, it is necessary to consult with the material and quality departments. The final parts made of this material should be free from defects, uneven gloss, burn marks, warpage, silver lines, cracks, uneven color, flow marks, weld lines, sink marks or other defects.

To determine the detailed requirements, this material is tested using the methods specified in the standard and must comply with the requirements specified in the table titled “Detailed requirements”. The detailed requirements in the table are listed on the following basis:
