When introducing speed or braking, in the case of road damage, tight corners or turning maneuvers - the forces affecting the load and the commercial vehicle can cause even tons of heavy loads to slip or bend. If the load is fixed incorrectly, this can lead to serious accidents in the worst case scenario.
Therefore, a load that is secured in accordance with the regulations is very important in completely difficult traffic conditions and anything that goes wrong can have irreversible negative consequences. With extensive test paths EUROLAB Our technology laboratory, in cooperation with different branches, offers comprehensive support to optimize vehicles as well as cargo security materials and methods, especially for standard transport jobs.
For this purpose, it is equipped with a universal testing machine for testing sliding tarpaulins and components in accordance with DIN EN 12641-2, special test equipment for cargo security and a servo-hydraulic test system for testing load retaining belts. In addition, these systems provide the opportunity to test hatch, bulkhead and cargo safety nets in accordance with VDI 2700 Page 3.3.
As an alternative to the static tests carried out by us, the DIN EN 12642 test program for vehicle bodies in accordance with Codes L and XL adapted to the requirements of road traffic, brake tests, roundabout entry and exit maneuvers and lane change testing. Load securing measures have been tested longitudinally and sideways. These dynamic tests are carried out at the customer's facilities, with the support of the branches. EUROLAB We can perform it for vehicle bodies at the Crash Test Center.
