The JASO D001 standard, developed by the Japan Automotive Standards Organization (JASO) , describes environmental testing methods for automotive electronic equipment. This organization, which sets automotive standards in Japan, performs activities similar to the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) in the United States.

This standard was published in 1978, before a similar standard published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Its content has been revised and completely updated on various dates and has been considered a highly effective standard by automobile manufacturers and electronic equipment manufacturers due to its description of endurance testing methods in electromagnetic and general environments including temperature, humidity and vibration conditions. Work on revising JASO standards and adding new hardware is still ongoing.
Later, in parallel with the ISO 16750 series on general environmental tests other than electromagnetic conditions, in 2006, JASO D014 standard series was published for the transition to methods compatible with international standards, as in electromagnetic environment test methods.
The following ISO and JASO standards are alternatives to the JASO D001 standard:
Our organization also provides environmental testing services for automotive electronic equipment within the scope of JASO D001 standard, with its trained and expert staff and advanced technological equipment, among the numerous test, measurement, analysis and evaluation studies it provides for businesses in various sectors.
